Roses and Rainforests

Hey there, everyone.I know that you are thinking what the heck the title could be about. Keep reading, you will see. :)

 It has been a little while since I posted, so I decided to show you all another photo of a recent piece that I did. Actually, I'm going to show you two. (Oh My. Right?) These pieces are really simple to put together and really organic looking. Both pieces that I'm going to show you are gemstones. That adds to the organic/nature feel to the jewelry. They are also great because you can make them long or short and they will still make a statement. So, without further ado, here they are.

This piece is all Rose Quartz. Each eye-pin is just connected to the next to make the chain. I really like the simplicity of these pieces. Here is the second one.

This one is Rainforest Jasper. I worked from the silver leaf pendant to make the chain for the necklace. I also added one piece of the jasper at the beginning to emphasize the pendant.

I really like how these pieces turned out. I have made several more items like this and plan to incorporate more of this technique into my jewelry. It is simple to do and gives your jewelry a really great look.
